As with Inner Spaces, the subject is conditions of the space and the objects present, rather than individual objects themselves.
This section also has images of Confederate earthworks, preserved since the Civil War. They tend to be stark, unnatural land forms, attractive in the right lighting, and memorable for their original purpose.
